KETO Sugar Free Maple Almond Bread

A lightly sweetened dense bread much like that of a brownie or blondie, that is equally super moist and delicious. However, the food stars in this KETO and low carb recipe are the use of almond and combination of other nut flours.

This tasty bread is also sugar free and the only natural sweetener and the star ingredient used to give it a subtle kiss of sweetness is ZERO sugar maple syrup, making it also diabetic friendly.

I used the Wholesome Yum Brand of syrup of which I have linked below.

KETO Sugar Free Maple Almond Bread

Ingredients

  • 2-1/2 cups Simple Mills All Purpose Nut Flour Find on Amazon or Sprouts or Whole Foods
  • 2 tsp Baking Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Kosher Salt
  • 1/2 cup Whole Yum KETO Pancake Mix
  • 1-3/4 cup Unsweetened Almond Milk
  • 1/4 cup Butter Milk
  • 3 tsp Wholesome Yum ZERO Sugar Maple Syrup or syrup of choice
  • 1/4 cup Coconut Oil melted
  • 1 Egg (optional) to reduce density and texture of bread

Instructions

  1. Whisk together the dry ingredients (flour, pancake mix, baking powder, and salt) in a bowl.

  2. In another bowl, combine the melted coconut oil, syrup, milks, and egg.

  3. Add the dry ingredients to the wet, mixing together to form a smooth batter.

  4. Pour into a buttered dish or nonstick pan (8×8 or loaf pan) and bake at 350 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes or until golden brown.
