Here is a simple breakfast idea for this Valentine’s Day. It is these Blueberry Heart shaped Pancakes. All you need is a large heart cookie cutter about 3 inches in diameter.

I used Birch Benders blueberry pancake mix and just added water and before you know it breakfast is served. Anyway make these fluffy heart pancakes for the one you love and serve them breakfast in bed. Enjoy. Happy Valentine’s Day! ❤️

Place heart cutter in center of buttered pan.

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup Birch Benders Blueberry Pancake Mix or other
  • 1/4 cup Water
  • 1 tbsp Butter

Instructions

  1. Combine the pancake mix with the water until smooth.

  2. In a pan with a tab of melted butter, place the lightly sprayed heart in the center of the skillet that’s on low to medium heat.

  3. Pour the batter into the cookie cutter and top with a small saucer for a couple minutes to insure the cutter makes good contact with the pan and to allow the top of batter to bubble and cook.

  4. Remove the saucer and carefully flip the pancake with it still inside of the cookie cutter.

  5. Brown the bottom of the pancake and then remove from the pan to a plate. The cutter should easily lift up.

  6. Serve with more blueberries, butter and maple syrup. Raspberry sauce (used here) is also delicious. Enjoy with the ones you love. Note: To make more than one, simply double the recipe.
