Honey Cinnamon Honey Oat Crunch Truffles

TO TRUFFLE OR NOT TO TRUFFLE? THAT IS THE QUESTION?

Oftentimes when people hear the word “truffles” they imagine some sophisticated or elaborate sweet treat that must be cumbersome to make; therefore, the tendency is to shy away from them in the kitchen—but not this girl! While truffles can be fancy smancy in many instances, that is not true in all because it really just depend on YOU.

I love making cookie dough truffles as they are really are so super simple to make—usually within MINUTES. Whether you roll them to coat them in melted chocolate, which is traditionally done; they have also been coated with other fantastic ingredients such as coconut and nuts. The only wait when making these bite-sized treats is simply refrigeration—so take 30 (minutes that is) to allow the dough to chill and really set. While it is my intention to also post earlier truffles recipes that I have created, for now here is one that I think you will enjoy making rolled out in crunchy cereal—my Honey Cinnamon Honey Oat Crunch Truffles.
