At my house and for dinner time tonight, our cuisine was planned for Italian. My brother would prepare Eggplant Parmesan and I would finish off by prepping and cooking the wings when arriving home after work. It was only to be a family dinner for two, so we had brought only a small pack of ten wings that was on special at our local Sprouts.
Oftentimes when making wings, my focus was generally on giving them either a basic barbecue or a hot spicy flavor as these are extremely popular when it comes to the almighty wing, but not tonight. I simply decided this time to keep my wings within the dinner theme and make it so “that’s Italian!”
With the Super Bowl only days away, this would be a great addition to include on the menu and serve at your Super Bowl party. So, I hope you call the play to make my scrumptious Italian flavored wing recipe which was ready in about 30 minutes. If so, be sure to leave a comment and tell me what you think. Here is a little bit more about this recipe.
I first allow the seasoned wings to slowly marinade in the slow cooker and soak in the flavor of the fragrant garlic butter sauce before adding a touch of my favorite marinara sauce as well as salty grated parmesan cheese to finish it off and please trust me when I say it will score BIG—a food touchdown— with your own special crowd on Super Bowl Sunday or any regular game day or at any event you may be hosting.

Recipe Notes
Note: The wings were fairly small and were done in 30 minutes. However, for larger and meatier wings, you may have to cook a little longer—possibly 15 minutes more.
