A Bun is Nothing Without A Tasty Burger: The Two Shall Become One With This Flaxseed Bun Guacamole and Salsa Burger

Jump to Recipe

This recipe only requires making your own flaxseed buns. However, it requires a few ingredients that may or may not be in your kitchen cupboards as I made this to be low carb and keto friendly. So, a little shopping may be in order.

The burger itself is basically simple. Just purchase ready-made burgers (i.e. turkey or beef) or if preferred season and form your own ground meat. Anyway, to make these super healthy burger buns, just follow the recipe below for my Easy Flaxseed Bun Guacamole and Salsa Burger.

SO WHY FLAXSEED?

I would say the biggest reason is because of its enormous health benefits. It also tastes delicious, is very hearty and super satisfying.

One serving of flaxseed provides protein, fiber, and omega-3 fatty acids. It may help lower the risk of some cancers, help you maintain a moderate weight, and reduce cholesterol and blood pressure.
