My Easy Hottie Wingie Sauce

Every Now and Then…Just Make Your Own

Every now and then I really enjoy making my own special home-made sauces to suit my own particular taste. After all, who knows what you ‘like’ more than you do? So from specialty condiments, to salad dressings and vinaigriettes, and a whole lot more—and even something as simple and easy as my “Hottie Wingie Sauce,” and of which pairs perfectly with any wing or chicken recipe—sometimes it does an everyday cook, novice or accomplished chef, or everyday food lover good to create their own tasty masterpiece in the kitchen, instead of always having to resort to the can or bottle to accomplish the particular task at hand. However, I do realize it may be a lot more work, but believe me when I say it is really quite rewarding—recipe development that is. But of course if time is a factor for you, than by all means, off to the cupboards you go for the store bought cans or jars. I definitely still use them too, but every now and then I must admit I love being a little adventuresome in my kitchen (a.ka. food laboratory).

As Easy As One-Two-Three

Anyway, my recipe is super simple. It’s really as easy as 1…2…3! Plus, it doesn’t involve pulling out the cutting board to chop up veggies nor herbs. Even still, you will find my wing recipe to be equally as delicious and without the need to perfect your knifing skills while chopping up herbs. This is just my cheat version where I use only granulated spices to do the trick. Leave a comment below to tell me what you think. 🙂

  • 1 tbsp Granulated Garlic
  • 1 tbsp Smoked Paprika

  • 2 tbsp Butter

Instructions

  1. In a sauce pan, melt the tablespoons of butter.

  2. Next add and combine the ketchup, hot sauce and Worcestershire sauce to the sauce pan, warming for a few minutes on medium low heat.

  3. Then add all of the spices that follow.

  4. Cook on simmering heat for about 5 minutes, just to give the ingredients the chance to flavor and mell together.

Recipe Notes

This recipe amount makes approximately one cup but can be doubled if desired and is good refrigerated for at least a couple weeks, but I don't personally believe it will last that long. LOL!

As always, I use organic ingredients whenever possible in my recipes, and encourage you to do likewise.
