There is not to much to address in this particular post though it involves one of my absolute favorite veggies, the green lumpy veg head —known as BROCCOLI.
Roasting is the preferred method on how I choose to cook and prepare my veggie’s for consumption. Plus, I love the fact that I get a healthy fat in my diet from simply drizzling them with olive or avocado oil. Anyway let’s just get to ROCKING AND ROASTING! 🥦
So without further ado, enjoy making this Roasted and Charred Seasoned Broccoli as it takes the depth of flavor of this veggie (as well as others) to a much higher level.
RECIPE
Roasted Charred and Seasoned Broccoli
Seasoned broccoli that is roasted and charred at a high temperature to brown and smoke these tasty florets.
Ingredients
- 1 bag Broccoli
- Olive Oil or Avocado for drizzling
- 1 tbsp Adobo Seasoning
- 1 tbsp Creole Seasoning
- 1/2 tbsp Salt
- 1 tsp Black Pepper
Instructions
-
Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
-
Cut up broccoli florets in medium sized pieces, and all the same size. This way the broccoli will roast and cook evenly.
-
Season with adobo and creole seasonings and salt and pepper.
-
Drizzle with oil (of choice), completely covering the broccoli. Massage by hand, working in the oil and spices over the florets.
-
Roast in oven for 20 minutes, allowing the edges and parts of the spears to brown and char.
