Everything Bagel Keto Sandwich, Hamburger Buns or Rolls

Ingredients

  • 1 /2 cup Almond Flour
  • 1/2 cup Coconut Flour
  • 1/2 cup Golden Flaxseed
  • 1 tsp Baking Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Baking Soda
  • 1 tsp Chia Seeds that has been soaked in a tablespoon of water
  • 1/4 tsp Salt
  • 1/4 tsp Black Pepper
  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1 tsp Onion Powder
  • 4 large Eggs
  • 2 large Egg Whites
  • 3 tbsp Olive Oil
  • 3/4 cup Buttermilk
  • 1 tbsp Apple Cider Vinegar
  • 2 tbsp Allulose Sweetener
  • Everything Bagel Seasoning for sprinkling over top

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together to combine the flours, flaxseed, baking powder, baking soda, salt and pepper, sweetener, hydrated chia seeds, garlic and onion powders.

  3. In the another bowl, mix together the eggs, egg whites, buttermilk, and vinegar until just incorporated.

  4. Add the dry ingredients a little at a time, stirring to fully combine if hand mixing and beating if using and electric mixer, until all ingredients are thoroughly incorporated. However, be careful not to over-mix the bread batter.

  5. Next, scoop out the batter using a 1/2 cup measurer, placing and forming them on a nonstick or lightly sprayed or greased baking sheet into large round shaped buns..

  6. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes or until golden brown. Allow the rolls or buns to cool before serving whole or slicing or halving horizontally to serve as sandwich or hamburger buns.
