Deep Fried Pimento Cheddar Cheese Spinach Balls
Excellent as an appetizer or even as a side to your main course, these little pimento cheese bites are crispy and crunchy on the outside, while soft and cheesy with a mildly sweet flavor on the inside.
Ingredients
- 4 oz Pimentos
- 8 oz Three Cheddar Cheese
- 3 tbsp Parmesan Cheese grated
- 1/4 cup Red Onion chopped
- 1 cup Baby Spinach chopped
- 3/4 cup Panko Bread Crumbs
- 1 large Egg organic
- 1 tsp Sea Salt
- Dash of Pepper
Instructions

Using a food processor, pulse and chop the spinach and the onion into small pieces.

Combine and stir all the above ingredients together in a bowl.

Roll out into 12 medium-sized balls.

Roll balls into self-rising flour and freeze for at least one hour before deep frying them in hot oil and cooking until golden brown.
