How can we make one of, if not, the most important rooms in our homes inviting, functionable, and even more cozy too? Well, let’s have a little Kitchen-Talk.
I think making the kitchen cozy, workable, and even an more enjoyable food-creating environment, even when you find yourself slaving behind that hot stove of yours, begins with ORGANIZATION.
Who doesn’t appreciate neatly organized cupboards and refrigerated and freezer organic goods stocking their food pantry? I must admit that just seeing everything packed and stored in its proper place gives me a sense and feeling of accomplishment.
However, even before organization, you want to make sure you’ve “got the GOODS,” as empty and barren cabinets and refrigerators are by no means inviting to you, family members, or even visiting friends.
One way to combat this is to consider shopping and stocking up in bulk when possible. If not, just make the stocking process, a gradual one instead.
Then there is having vital KITCHEN APPLIANCES and ACCESSORIES required to the get the job done. Of course there is the basic kitchenware (i.e. mixers, measuring tools, etc.). However, if you spend significant amounts of time here preparing healthy and nutritional meals for your family, than you might want to consider investing in the hardcore stuff (i.e. food processors, indoor grills, +) in order to make your cooking experience not only a lot easier but a pleasurable as well as tastier one too.

Finally, to create a cozy kitchen, try adding CANDLES. Gracing your tables with beautiful candles create not only a romantic setting but a relaxing one too–as I have found it to be visually stimulating and calming. So the benefits here are really two-fold. See you get to enjoy the ambiance if deciding to dine by candlelight (and that really depends on your partner), but also while preparing your special food too.
I also enjoy allowing soothing MUSIC to play while I’m cooking or baking, as I have found this to be yet another way I can turn this precious room in my house into a COZY KITCHEN. By doing the above, I have found that I don’t mind spending hours there, as time in my kitchen becomes as sweet as the apple pie I might be preparing!
