A tasty way to enjoy the not so popular “Brussel sprouts” is by combining them with something that you do enjoy.
Just take bacon for example. You’ve heard the popular saying “everything tastes better with bacon” and this statement definitely rings with truth and you’ll absolutely become a believer after making these Roasted, Bacon Wrapped Brussel Sprouts, that is, unless you hate pork. If so, then it’s back to the drawing board. 🤓
RECIPE
Roasted Bacon Wrapped Brussel Sprouts
Bacon and Brussels pairs nicely together in this tasty recipe with a side of sweet mustard sauce.
Ingredients
- 8 oz Brussel Sprouts
- 4 slices Bacon halved
- 1/2 tsp Garlic Powder
- 1/2 tsp Smoked Paprika
- Sprinkle Salt and Pepper
- Olive Oil to drizzle over sprouts
For the sweet mustard sauce for dipping
- 3 tbsp Dijon Mustard
- 1 -1/2 tbsp Maple Syrup
- 2 -1/2 tbsp ZERO Sugar Honey or other
- 1/4 tsp Salt
- Pinch Black Pepper
- Pinch Red Pepper Flakes
Instructions

Preheat oven to 400 degrees.

Season sprouts with garlic, paprika, salt and pepper.

Cut bacon slices in half and wrap each sprout with bacon half until completely .

Drizzle bacon covered sprouts with olive oil.

Bake for 25 to 30 minutes until bacon is somewhat crisp. Be sure to turn sprouts half way between baking.
For Sweet Mustard Sauce

In a small bowl, mix together the mustard, syrup, honey, salt, pepper, and red flakes.
