Kalamata Mediterranean Hummus

Creamy Hummus served up with the Mediterranean flavors of Kalamata olives.

Ingredients

  • 1 15 oz can Garbanzo Beans with the juice
  • 3/4 cup Tahini
  • 1/2 cup Kalamata Olives pitted
  • 3 Garlic Cloves minced
  • Juice of one lemon and the zest
  • 1-1/2 tsp Salt or to taste
  • 1/2 tsp Black Pepper or to taste
  • Greek Olive Oil or other drizzle over hummus

Instructions

  1. Add all of the ingredients into a food processor or blender and mix until combined into a creamy hummus. Add a little olive oil if needed to smooth out. Otherwise, drizzle about 1/2 tablespoon of oil over the hummus after transferring it to a serving bowl.

  2. Serve with sliced cucumbers and/or my Mediterranean tomato chips (recipe available here) or crackers .
