Easy, Single Serving, Blender Hollandaise Sauce

This single serving of delicious creamy and buttery Hollandaise sauce comes together easily in your blender and literally within minutes.

Ingredients

  • 1 Egg Yolk
  • 2 tbsp Butter warm and melted
  • 1/2 tsp Salt or more to taste
  • 1/2 tsp Black Pepper
  • 1/2 tsp Cayenne Pepper
  • Lemon Juice, a squeeze optional but it will enhance flavor

Instructions

  1. In personal or small blender, add egg yolk, salt and peppers and blend for less than a minute.

  2. Melt butter in microwave, and add to blender and blend immediately until it emulsifies into a thick and creamy sauce.

  3. Serve over top of Eggs Benedict or and other savory breakfast or brunch dish.

  4. This tasty sauce can be doubled to make more, if needed.
