Easy technique or shortcut to transform precooked leftover chicken or freshly baked (or grilled) chicken into this deliciously textured chicken recipe.
Coat leftover or cooled freshly cooked chicken breasts in barbecue sauce.
Follow by coating with coconut flakes by rolling or patting flakes on both sides of chicken.
Broil the cooked chicken at 300 degrees for 8 to 10 minutes, just to rewarm the chicken and the coconut flakes are lightly browned and toasted.
NOTE: The preparation and cooking time will be dependent upon whether the chicken is already precooked or is to be newly baked or grilled, as well as the number of chicken pieces being prepared. However, the same simple steps would be followed.
Whenever possible use organic ingredients.
