Spicy hot bacon and jalapeño and jalapeño cheese appetizer bites that pack a definite kick of heat and is a savory treat as a starter.
Cut bacon in halves.
Heat oil in skillet on medium heat and cook until browned.
Cut Jalapeño up in thin strips after removing seeds and insides. Should yield about 16 thin strips.
Cut cheese slice lengthwise in half.
Quarter 2 tortillas.
Preheat oven to 350.
Place cheese, bacon, and two jalapeño strips on tortilla (dotted with mustard if using) and wrap with tortilla. Note: Use one strip if you prefer less heat or swap out the cheese for a milder one.
Place on a baking sheet with seam side down.
Place under air fryer, broiler or toaster oven for 3 to 5 minutes or until lightly browned and cheese is melted.
