Easy Air Fried Apple Filled Enchiladas

Spiced apple filling housed inside of crispy air-fried (or deep fried if preferred) enchiladas with a sprinkle of cinnamon sugar and a caramel drizzle at the end.

Ingredients

  • 2 ready made Pastry dough sheets
  • 2 15 oz cans Apple Pie Filling
  • Cinnamon Sugar (combined) enough for sprinkling
  • 6 tbsp Butter melted; and more if needed
  • Store bought caramel (or make your own) NOTE: See recipe on website.

Instructions

  1. Preheat air fryer to 400 degrees.

  2. Cut pastry dough sheets in large circles using a large cookie cutter.

  3. Place a large tablespoon of apple pie filling in the center of cut dough. Then fold over apple filling and crimp the edges shut with a fork.

  4. Baste the uncooked enchiladas with the melted butter.

  5. Air fry in batches until golden brown (usually anywhere between 5 to 10 minutes). Do not overcrowd the fryer pan.

  6. Sprinkle with cinnamon sugar mixture immediately after removing from air fryer. Drizzle with caramel sauce.
