Pancake Cereal: Is There Such A Thing?

Jump to Recipe

Is there such a thing as “pancake cereal?” Why not, as there are so many ways that foods of all kinds can be enjoyed. The only thing preventing creative inventions, be it with foods by creating a variety of unique or common recipes or just in general, is one’s own creative imagination and their failure to use it.

So, more about “pancake cereal.” Let me first say it was not birthed here. I first read a little bit about it on a Taste of Home post. The unnamed person simply placed pancakes in a bowl with maple syrup and from there the unique phrase “pancake cereal” was coined.

Anyway this post is a play on this, and is a basic pancake recipe with standard prep instructions, however with the use of honey inside the batter.

This Honey Flavored Pancake Cereal can be enjoyed with either more honey on top, maple syrup, and/or unsweetened almond milk, or left plain (as it is already sweetened), or just be daring and try all three, but remember in a bowl. 😉
