Food Memorabilia
Jump to RecipeI am sure that each of you enjoyed while growing up as kids, those especially tasty foods, you know those memorable one’s—treasured food memorabilia—like only mama use to make.
Well it’s been a little over 12 years since my beloved mother went home to be with Jesus, and recently this particular dessert came to mind especially with it being Spring and all, and that is….DRUMROLL PLEASE 🥁 …Mama’s Simple Old Fashioned Peach Cobbler.
MAMA’S PEACH COBBLER
This recipe is super simple and that’s the way my mother kept many of her recipes. This tasty cobbler included only a few basic ingredients such as a tad of brown sugar, a spoon of cinnamon and a bit of nutmeg and that’s it. However, my mother always preferred to make her own dough for pies and even this cobbler.
We always looked forward to this warm and sweet cobbler treat, often times waiting rather impatiently with salivating tongues and hungry tummies for it to come out of the oven, and especially if we got to enjoy it with a scoop of vanilla ice cream too.
So though this old fashioned cobbler is super simple, it’s however, no less delicious, and why complicate the process anyway right.
