It’s TURKEY time AGAIN!
No it’s not Thanksgiving. That time has already come and past. However, enjoying turkey is a year round event for me, as there are a number of food products out there and with turkey—bacon, lunchmeat, etcetera.
Let Me Count the Ways
As an “Organic Health Foodie,” one my favorite proteins or meats to enjoy (second to chicken that is) and yes you’ve already guessed it—is ‘turkey.’ So let me just count a few ways I enjoy cooking up this particular bird. First, there is my innumerable specialty turkey burgers; followed by frying up thick pieces of turkey bacon with some good ole scrambled eggs for breakfast, and now this quick and delicious one, which is the reason for this recipe post.
Turkey Sloppy Joe’s Versus Beef
I could not resist sharing this super simple and delicious recipe—my Turkey Sloppy Joe’s—that I cooked up by using ground turkey and a few other kitchen and pantry ingredients you can find in your fridge or cupboards without making that trek to the store for the usual can of Manwich sauce in order to cook this one up. Plus, turkey is a much healthier alternative or substitute, as it is much easier to digest than that of ground beef. Anyway , I’m confident your gonna love these turkey joes, and will not even miss the beef. So be sure to let me know what you think! 😉
