Chicken Jalapeño and Olive Cheese Bread

Hot and Cheesy Jalapeño and Olive Bread topped with balsamic flavored Chicken.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound Ready Made Jalapeño Cheese Bread or Foccacia
  • 1-1/2 tbsp Kalamata Olives
  • 1 cup Colby Jack
  • 3 Chicken Breasts cooked and chopped or shredded
  • 1 /2 tbsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Black Pepper
  • 1 tsp Chili Powder
  • 1 /2 tsp Smoked Paprika
  • 1/2 tsp Cumin
  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 3 tbsp Balsamic Vinegar
  • 1 tbsp Olive Oil
  • 1 tbsp Cilantro chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

  2. Season chicken with salt, pepper and spices.

  3. Baste with balsamic vinegar and drizzle with a little olive oil.

  4. Cook on baking pan for 15 minutes.

  5. Remove from oven and allow to cool before chopping or shredding meat. Temporarily reduce temperature while chicken cools.

  6. Next, top cheese bread with chopped chicken. Spread Kalamata olives all over the bread and sprinkle with cheese.

  7. Increase oven temperature to 350 and bake and warm bread for 7 to minutes to allow cheese to melt and ingredients to heat up.

  8. Top with chopped cilantro.
